Visual effects supervisor Dan Glass opens up about the mysterious "Tree of Life" project by notoriously mysterious director Terence Malick.

Not neccesarily schewing digital effects but focusing more on more traditional tangible techniques like petri dish macrophotography, a large team was assembled to work on what sounds to be a stream of consciousness 30 years in the making as even footage shot in the 70s is being utilized.
